Celebrate Recovery is a biblical recovery program that helps us overcome our hurts, hang-ups, and habits. It is based on the actual words of Jesus rather than psychological theory. Celebrate Recovery meets in our Family Life Center on Tuesdays at 6:30pm. A Free Meal is available every week at 6:00 PM.

“The purpose of Celebrate Recovery is to fellowship and celebrate God’s healing power in our lives through 8 Recovery Principles. By working and applying these Biblical principles, we begin to grow spiritually. We become free from our addictive, compulsive and dysfunctional behaviors. This freedom creates peace, serenity, joy and most importantly, a stronger personal relationship with God and others. As we progress through the program we discover our personal, loving and forgiving Higher Power – Jesus Christ, the one and only true Higher Power.

 What To Expect…

When you come to a Celebrate Recovery meeting you can expect to be warmly welcomed into an atmosphere of unconditional love and acceptance.  You will be welcomed by people like you who gather each week to support one another as we deal with our hurts, hang-ups, and habits.  The format for our meeting is described below.

Fellowship Meal

Our meetings begin with a fellowship meal.  All are welcome and the meal is offered free of charge.

Large Group

The Celebrate Recovery Large Group features a time of worship in recognition and celebration of our true “Higher Power” – Jesus Christ.  Worship allows us to shift the focus from our problems to the God who can bring serenity and transformation. We explore the recovery principles found in the Beatitudes and the Christ-centered Twelve Steps and we hear amazing “Stories to Celebrate” of those who are receiving victory over their fears, addictions, attitudes, and behaviors.

Small Groups

We open the door to change by sharing our experiences, strengths, and hopes with one another. In addition, we become willing to accept God’s grace in solving our life problems. Confidential and anonymous support groups, divided by gender and certain recovery issues, offer a safe place to share and to gain the affirmation and encouragement of others. Together, working the Christ-centered Steps and applying their Biblical principles, we begin to grow spiritually. We become free from our hurts; our fears; and our addictive, compulsive, and dysfunctional behaviors. Our small group guidelines are strictly followed to ensure that the group is a safe place in which to share openly.  This freedom creates peace, serenity, and—most importantly—a stronger personal relationship with God and others.
