THE DEVIL DOES TEMPT US

By Zoe Willoughby

Everyday the devil will tempt us to do something we know is wrong, but the only way we can overcome the wrong is by trusting in the Lord. The evil, Satan, spreads is turned to good by the hands of Jesus Christ. But you have to seek the Lord, and give yourself to Him. And we will make the bad things, the devil tempts us to do in our life, go away. Because no power is greater than the power of Jesus Christ!

In 1 Corinthians 10:13, Paul says, “No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and He will not let you be tempted beyond your ability. But with the temptation, he will also provide the way of escape that you may be able to endure it.” This verse speaks to me because the devil has tempted to me a few times, but I got through it because God knew I would overcome it. Scripture says, He will not tempt you beyond your ability. Don’t ever question the Lord because He has control to change us; each and every single one of us for our good!. Even you, yes you, through all the hurt you’ve been through or anything you have done. HE FORGIVES YOU!!

Jesus have his life for every single one of us, so we could be forgiven no matter what it is. He will forgive you, if you will just ask. 1 John 1:9 says, “if we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us of our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness”. Also in Ephesians 1:7, it says, “In Him (Jesus) we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace.” Give yourself to the Lord, and things will get better. Speaking from experience, open up to someone, it will help you. Speaking from experience, i’ve been through a lot, but the way I got through it way by opening up to people and just giving my life to Jesus and repenting from my sins.

There isn’t anybody out there who Jesus won’t forgive. He has been through so much more, FOR US!! Jesus loves us no matter what we have done. He will never stop loving us. Give yourself to the Lord, and repent of your sins. Open up to someone, it will help. I had someone tell me one day, that I can’t carry my burdens by myself. They told me that I needed to talk to people that I could trust, and let them help me carry my burdens. Scripture even says, in Galatians 6:2, “Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the Law of Christ.” Jesus hears you. Even when you pray, and feel as if your talking to a wall. Jesus hears you, because He heard me when I thought He didn’t.
